Churchman's cigarette card dating from 1919

WEST SUFFOLK CHURCHES - A SERIES OF 50 - No 29 KETTLEBASTON (collectable card, believed to date from 1919). Reverse - "Population 129. The Church of St Mary is presumed to be of Decorated work. The old font is Norman, and the south doorway is very old, and there is a good three-light east window. The embattled western tower,with buttresses, contains three bells. The rood-staircase can still be seen. The earliest date recorded in the register is 1578. The building has been renovated in recent years."
