Directions by road from Lavenham:
Take the A1141 Bury Road as if heading out of Lavenham. Turn right just before the old railway bridge at the top of the hill (signposted
to Preston & Brettenham) and keep on this road for approximately 2 miles. Turn right into the village of Preston St. Mary and pass
completely through, passing the Six Bells pub on your right and the church on your left. Carry on until a small green, raised triangle with a
postbox at the centre is encountered. Turn left into Whelp Street and continue on this narrow lane (over the little bridge, and around the "Z" bend) and Kettlebaston will be found at the top of the hill.
Directions by road from Hitcham:
Turn down the minor road beside the old White Horse public house (now residential). After 25 yds or so another (even smaller) lane
branches off on the left hand side. Turn left and head up Balls Hill. The tiny hamlet of Kettlebaston will then be reached in approximately one mile.
