Peter signing a copy of his latest book

Acclaimed Kettlebaston artist Peter Partington opened a major exhibition of his work at The Wildlife Gallery in Lavenham today. Inexplicably, this is the first occasion that he has presented his work at this venue - the majority of his shows being at the RSPB Slimbridge reserve and other major galleries nationwide.

The body of work comprises images produced for the RSPB, BBC Wildlife and other magazines, and is based upon the theme of  "A meander down the Brett valley and on to the Stour estuary".

He is seen here personalising a copy of his latest book (of illustrations for the RSPB) at the exhibitions opening.

The Wildlife Gallery's will feature his work from the 5th to the 23rd December.
